Pterocarpus and Pterocarpus products have certain human health functions. In this paper, using Pterocarpus pedatus Pierre as an example, we study its human health components via PY-GC-MS, TDS-GC-MS, and GC-MS. The composition of known human health functions was studied by reviewing the literature. Hematoxylin is used to detect bacterial and fungal biofilms in CRS/NP patients and to treat CRS/NP. p-Cresol can reduce endothelial progression in endothelial dysfunction in uremic patients and aid in wound repair. 2-Furancarboxaldehyde, 5-methyl- exhibits high antimicrobial activity against NCIM 2501 and NCIM 5021.
